We have lived with Hungarian Vizslas for 30 years, and we can say that there are dogs, there are people, and the Hungarian Vizsla is somewhere between the two.
We founded the Butterfly Hunter Kennel in 2017 and became FCI-recognized Hungarian Vizsla breeders. We have always stated that we are not just dog breeders, we work on the care of this wonderful breed, our determined goal is to create and nurture bloodlines that we can be justly proud of.
We monitor the lives of the puppies from us and support their owners, providing help when needed. Our puppies live in many countries of the world, we have puppies that have become successful breeding dogs, some that we would actively hunt with, and some are “just” family pets. But we are proud that our puppies are always part of the family with their owners.
We also work with dogs every day, with dog hydrotherapy and rehabilitation. Therefore, it also plays a very important role during breeding, that the dogs that come from us are healthy and free of genetic diseases.
Our breeding bitches and cover dogs are both health-screened, hunter-examined dogs that fully meet breeding requirements.
Our puppies are socialized in a family environment from the moment they are born, and we place great emphasis on ensuring that they enter their new home prepared and balanced.
